I reached school at 7.45 am and after having breakfast, we trainees wrapped the prizes for the winners of the hygiene awareness competition. By 9.15 am, I signed the morning attendance and sought permission from the HM to distribute the prizes during the school assembly. The assembly began with prayer and pledge by the students, followed by a short talk by the teacher on the importance of software. Afterwards, Rohini invited the HM to distribute the prizes and I had the opportunity to announce the names of the winners. It was a proud and joyful moment for me. During the fourth period, Rani Miss came to observe my class in 8B, which gave me valuable feedback for improvement. Later, I also handled my regular class in 8B during the seventh period. The day concluded with the national anthem at 3.45 pm, marking the end of a fulfilling school day.

Today’s teaching experience was quite meaningful. In the first period, I got a substitution class in 8A, where I conducted an English revision and a remedial session for the students who had failed in the Onam exam. This gave me the opportunity to address their learning gaps and provide additional support. The students were attentive and responded positively, which encouraged me to adapt my methods to their needs. Second period I got a substitution class in 7A.In the fourth period, I had a regular class in 8B. The lesson plan activities worked well, as they sustained the students’ interest and improved their understanding of the topic. However, I noticed that better time management could have allowed for more student participation and deeper discussion. Overall, the day was fulfilling as I could balance both remedial teaching and regular classroom instruction. The experience highlighted the importance of patience, flexibility, and planning in managing diverse learning needs effectively.

This was a beautiful and enriching experience, as it gave me valuable insights into the students’ perspectives on my teaching.
