SECOND PHASE WEEKLY REFLECTION

Image
DAY 11 01-12-2025   Today was the eleventh day of my teaching practice. I reached the school at 9:00 am and signed the morning attendance. The day began with a school assembly that highlighted Constitution Day and World AIDS Day (December 1). Students took a special pledge, and the Headmistress addressed the school, giving important instructions about the upcoming Christmas examination.  I did not have any classes in the morning session, so I used the time to observe the school environment and interact with students informally. During the noon meal break, two of my friends went to serve the meals to the students. After lunch, I signed the afternoon attendance.  During the fifth period, I received a substitution class in 8C, but Revathy teacher informed me that several students were allotted to the NMS class, and the remaining students were asked to go to the library for reading. Therefore, I couldn’t take the planned class in that period.  In the sixth period, I...

Image
DAY 6 24-11-25 Today I reached school at 9 a.m. and signed the morning attendance. The day began smoothly, and I felt more settled into the school routine. During the lunch break, I along with Aiswarya and Aleena helped serve meals to the students; the menu for the day was payar thoran, sambar, and rice. It was a meaningful experience to interact with the students in an informal setting, and I enjoyed seeing their enthusiasm during lunchtime. After the break, I signed the afternoon attendance Later, the headmistress informed us that we needed to shift our staffroom to the workshop room, which had already been assigned to us earlier. Though the sudden change required some adjustment, it also gave us a chance to reorganize our space and settle into a more comfortable working environment. In the sixth period, I handled my regular class in 8C. The class went well, and I felt more confident in managing the students and delivering the lesson. During the seventh period, I took the Gotech...

It aims to help individuals understand real-world challenges and take responsible actions to bring about positive change. Image
DAY -45 29-09-25 Last day of teaching practice - Phase I   Today marked the final day of my teaching practice, a day filled with mixed emotions and lasting memories. We reached the school at 7.30 am, and after having breakfast, we went to collect sweets from a nearby bakery. At 9.15 am, I signed the morning attendance. Many students came to our staffroom to meet us and express their feelings about our last day at the school. In my concerned class, 8B, Athira teacher and I distributed laddus and chocolates to both teachers and students as a token of love and gratitude. We took class photos and selfies with our students, capturing precious memories. The students shared their heartfelt feedback and offered small tokens of love, which deeply touched me.    Later, I got my records sealed and signed by the Headmaster. The entire day was filled with warmth and nostalgia as I took photographs with the teachers and students to preserve these beautiful moments. In the afternoon, we ...
